I've been listening to this album off and on for a couple years now and still don't know what to make of it, partly because I just don't know what you'd call this. It's instrumental rock, but it's not quite post-rock or ambient or anything like that. Have a listen to "The Garden" to see what I mean. I guess it's just as simple as "modern indie rock without the vocals." They toured with Owl City recently, so it's at least nice to know they're starting to get some attention.
As a side note, if you dig this, check out Saxon Shore. Maybe I'll get some of their stuff up in here shortly.
